Abu Mohammed – Ajloun, Jordan

Abu Mohammed welcomes those walking the Abraham Path to stay at his home. He initially found it hard to believe that visitors would be interested in his ‘not famous’ village, as cultural tourism is new to the area.

Abdulsalam – Palmyra, Syria

I was working at a hotel in Palmyra and learned that tourists wanted to have an authentic Bedouin experience. So now, I take people out into the desert on camels to have dinner and stay with my family in our tent.
