Gideon Argov

Gideon Argov joined Berkshire Partners as an Advisory Director in May 2013.  He is also a director of J.M. Huber Corporation, Beechcraft LLC, Servotronix and Energy Points.  Argov is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the International Council of the Belfer Center at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.  He is involved in numerous non-profit organizations including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and the Inter-Disciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel where he founded the Shlomo Argov Fellows Program for public sector leadership.

Argov served as Chief Executive Officer of Entegris, a global provider of materials and components to the semiconductor and electronics industries from 2004-2012.  He was a Managing Director of Parthenon Capital from 2001-2004.  Previously, he served for nine years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kollmorgen, a factory automation and electro-optical systems provider.  Argov served for four years as a combat officer and Company Commander in the armored corps of the Israel Defense Forces.
